Jim Palmer
National Director of Sales
Jim Palmer brings more than 20 years of operations, sales, management and leadership experience in transportation, healthcare and data industries. His background includes consulting and managing health programs for the Federal Employee Program as well as transportation training and risk management.
Before joining Merchants Information Solutions, Jim was a sales specialist and managed care consultant with Eli Lilly and Co. Prior to Eli Lilly Jim held positions in operations, sales and management in both the health and transportation industries. With Graebel Van Lines, Jim was responsible for the relocation of Stapleton International Airport, and later was Operations Manager and National Account Sales for the Arizona Operation. He also worked as a manager and sales liaison for PCS Health Systems and NDC Health.
In his current role, Mr. Palmer specializes in helping companies bolster profits by minimizing hiring risk through the use of tools such as Tescor Integrity Testing and Personnel Profiles Background Screening. He is regularly invited as a national guest speaker by Insurance associations, the Transportation industry and Trade associations.
Mr. Palmer is a member of the American Movers Association, Air Conditioning Contractors of America and the Arthritis Foundation as well as being FCRA certified. Jim has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters of Business degree.
