The Merchants Identity Theft Advisory Board
Merchants is a national leader in Identity Theft risk reduction with its expert knowledge and its commitment to reducing risk for business, government and non-profits related to the terrible costs of an ID data breach. In June 2009, Merchants launched America’s first advisory board of experts devoted to ID Theft risk reduction. Merchants ID Theft Advisory Board includes: Avnet’s CIO, Go Daddy’s Chief Legal Counsel, the FBI’s lead Cyber Agent and others.
Our Advisory Board’s mission: to help ensure that critical knowledge about ID Theft and Data Breach Risk Management is illuminated, focused on, shared and discussed among its members for the purpose of reducing the potential risk to board members’ organizations and to benefit other legitimate organizations across the U.S.
