Merchants instant Drug Testing Options

Note: Instant Drug Screening is prohibited in some states. Verify that Instant Drug Testing is permissible in a your state before administering or purchasing these products.

Instant Drug Testing

Merchants offers instant drug screening solutions via a line of products which have been in use for over ten years and are fully FDA approved. Twenty-five regular drug screens take days or weeks to report results could cost approximately $875. And there are many methods in use to ‘beat’ traditional urinalysis. Instant drug screening products have a shelf life of 18-24 months.

We offer both oral and fluid instant screens:

iScreen™ Oral – A tab placed in the mouth to collect oral fluids for 3 minutes reveals the presence of any Radar 6 Panel drug: Amphetamines, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Phencyclindine, Cocaine or Opiates.
Cost: iScreen™ Instant Oral box of 25 = $325.00 plus taxes and shipping (Sales can go as low as $299.00 per box for higher volume clients.)

Boxes are shipped from Norfolk VA using UPS. In order to quote – email Valerie Douglas the Product type, number of boxes and the customers’ Zip Code. She will email you back the shipping fee to add to your quote.

To administer the iScreen™ Oral drug screen:

1. Fill out Form 2390. Ask applicant if they are on any prescription medications. Record on form.
2. Have applicant fill out and sign "Donor" section.
3. Unwrap iScreen™ packet. Check expiration date.
4. Hand iScreen™ packet to the applicant. They twist and remove the Swab Cap and place the swab in their mouth, swabbing sides and tongue for 3 minutes.
5. Have the applicant replace the Swab Cap. Twist the Swab Cap to initiate results.
6. Write applicant’s name on an iScreen™ Security Seal – peel off back paper and seal cap complete packet with the label.
7. Wait 5 – 10 minutes. Check that all ‘C’ areas have lines to ensure Valid test. Any missing T, Test Line indicates a Non-Negative (potential positive result.)
8. Use the Results Recording Template to photocopy the results information on the iScreen™ packet and record the results on the photocopy. File, if Negative. If any Non-Negative(s), it is recommended that the user have the applicant’s results confirmed via lab-based urinalysis.

Note: In the instance that there is a non-negative result and the Donor detailed prescriptions they are using, it is recommended that the Administrator research the prescriptions to see if they have been identified as having a potential cross reaction as they may cause false positives.

iCup^A.D. - Test Strip Cup instantly reveals presence of Amphetamines, Barbituatrates, Benzodiazepines, Ecstasy, Morphine, Oxycodone, Propoxyphene, Tricyclic Antidepressants, Methadone, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Phencyclindine, Cocaine and Opiates with a built-in validity test.

Cost: iCup^A.D. instant Urine box of 25 = $250.00 plus taxes and shipping (Sales can go as low as $220.00 per box for higher volume clients.)

The amusingly named iCup^A.D. ( I C U P ), is not nearly as popular as the iScreen™ Oral. Most HR people do not wish to personally handle an applicant’s urine.

To administer the iCup^A.D. drug screen:

1. Fill out Form 2390. Ask applicant if they are on any prescription medications. Record on form.

3. Unwrap iCup^A.D. packet. Check expiration date.
4. Hand iCup^A.D. to the Donor. They should deposit enough urine to surpass the Temperature Strip.
5. Take the iCup^A.D. from the Donor. Write applicant’s name on a Security Seal – peel off back paper and seal iCup^A.D. without covering the Results.
6. Wait 5 – 10 minutes. Check that all ‘C’ areas have lines and Green Temperature gauge is highlighted within 90-100 degrees F to ensure Valid test. Any missing T, Test Line indicates a Non-Negative (potential positive result.)
7. Use the Results Recording Template to photocopy the results information on the iCup^A.D. packet and record the results on the photocopy. File, if Negative. If any Non-Negative(s), it is recommended that the user have the applicant’s results confirmed via lab-based urinalysis.
